TabTrade Overview - What to Know Before You Sign Up

The Broker — What It Is

TabTrade.com launched in March 2026. Online broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, licensed through the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, a well-known broker.

His background matters. It means the person running this has actually done this before. Does not guarantee anything. But better than a random name you cannot trace.

The broker opened with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same data centres institutional desks use. The typical new launch starts with a white-label MT4 setup. TabTrade went the other way. Unusual for a new broker.

Market coverage: FX, stock indices, gold, silver, commodities, equities, crypto, ETFs. Over 1,000 instruments. For a platform this new, that coverage is solid.

What You Trade On

They offer: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and web trading. Both platforms from the same login. Most brokers pick one platform. Getting both is useful. Use whichever you prefer.

MT5 is the default. Complete charts, Expert Advisors, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have used a MetaQuotes platform previously, it is familiar territory.

cTrader is the cleaner option. Better DOM. Smoother chart interaction. cBot support. A lot of traders like it better than MT5 after using both.

Direct FIX connectivity is there for algo traders but needs the VIP account ($25,000 to open). TradingView is apparently in the works. That should be a good addition once it is live.

Accounts and Pricing

Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. Zero commission. Simple. $0 to start. Works for people who want simple pricing.

Edge. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On majors, the actual interbank spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. So your all-in cost sometimes sits under half a pip. That is good for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that offer pricing like this require a minimum deposit. This broker does not.

VIP. $25k to open. FIX API, faster fills, negotiated fees. Not for typical accounts. Ignore this one unless you run serious volume.

How Fast Are the Fills

The execution is the thing this broker stands apart. Equinix servers in London. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. That is not marketing fluff. The average platform run hundreds of milliseconds.

Does this affect you? If you scalp, absolutely. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is catching the move or missing it. If you hold positions longer, you will not notice. What matters is they invested in proper execution. That says what kind of broker this is.

Put together that infrastructure with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the overall offering makes sense. Not many platforms at this price point run Equinix connectivity.

Safety

This is the part you need to be straight about. TabTrade is under Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is offshore. No CySEC. No government-backed safety net. If that is a dealbreaker, this broker is not for you. Plenty of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.

But. The person running it came from BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure costs real money. Fly-by-night platforms do not invest in proper execution infrastructure. This does not replace tier-1 regulation. But be part of your decision.

The deal: you trade regulatory safety. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether this deal works is your call.

Deposit Bonus

Tab Trade has bonus funds of up to $2,000. Standard welcome offer. You fund your account, they credit extra capital. Standard terms apply: turnover conditions before bonus funds can be taken out. Check the terms before you deposit.
